| BACKGROUND:
CONCLUSION |
|||
| We
have examined the limits to the six fundamental powers: communication, transportation,
energy sources, engines, synthesis and reduction. We found limits of four kinds: (1) true limits set by the universe, (2) practical limits, (3) limits resulting from Calousian choice, and (4) limits resulting because the area of sci-tech itself is not of a character to empower. What did we find? Something surprising, exciting -- enormously significant. We found that although growing sci-tech can enormously increase the six fundamental powers, the great preponderance of these powers are nevertheless limited by the universe. Admittedly, our case is far from perfect. Weve probably cited limits that dont exist and omitted some that do. This is unavoidable because this is the first analysis and is bound to be amended. Also, because of where we are in LSCC, weve yet to plumb basic knowledge in many areas. However, our case neednt be perfect. And it is certainly good enough to establish that if we keep our sci-tech growing, we would eventually reach a very special future condition. We have proven the existence of Calousia. We have shown that the universe, by setting so many limits to the growth of our powers, has established for our cultural process, a most distinctive and exciting future state. >Next Help Us? © Warren A.
